The winner of the prize draw will receive a BikeTrac stolen vehicle recovery Tracker Plus and one year’s free BikeTrac Subscription (the “Prize”).
By taking part in the prize draw, you are agreeing to share your name and address with BikeTrac.
You are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. Hastings Direct reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
To be eligible to enter this prize draw you must:
1. be over the age of 18 years old and live in the UK;
2. be a Hastings Direct motorcycle policy holder;
3. renew your Hastings Direct motorcycle policy between 1 May 2022 and 31 October 2022; and
4. not be an employee of Hastings Direct.

The opening date for entries is on 1 August 2022. The closing date of the prize draw is 23:59 on 30th November 2022. Entries received after this time will not be counted.
A winner will be chosen by random on or after 30th November 2022.
If the chosen winner’s Hastings Direct motorcycle policy is no longer in force and/or all monthly payments (if they pay by monthly premium credit) are not up to date, an alternative winner will be selected.
The chosen winner will be contacted via email and/or phone on or after 30th November 2022 (the “Winner”).
The Prize is awarded conditionally upon the Winner’s acceptance of it. If the Prize is unclaimed within fourteen (14) working days of the Winner being notified by email or phone, the Prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplementary winner may be chosen at Hastings Direct’s sole discretion. We shall not be held responsible for non-delivery of the Prize at the email or phone number provided and no alternative will be provided. It is your responsibility to inform Hastings Direct of any change to your contact details.
Our liability to you for any direct, indirect, or consequential damage or loss is excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law and in particular we will have no liability to the Winner or to any other third party in respect of any issue which affects the quality or fitness for any particular purpose of the Prize or any damage or loss resulting from making use of the Prize. You further accept that any replacement or substitution of the Prize is at our sole discretion, and we are under no obligation to do so.
The Prize is nonexchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is available. There is no cost to enter the prize draw. The Winner agrees not to sell, offer to sell or use the Prize for any commercial or promotional purpose (including placing the Prize on an internet auction site).
Our decision regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Hastings Direct, reserves the right, at our discretion, to:
1. amend these terms and conditions.
2. disqualify any entrants who do not comply with these terms and conditions or has acted fraudulently in any way;
3. suspend or cancel the prize draw at any time and without providing any prior notice, if in its opinion it is deemed necessary or if circumstances arise outside its control; and/or
4. substitute the Prize or any element of the Prize including the Prize value in the event that the Prize cannot be provided to the Winner.
Hastings Direct does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction, availability, or functionality or otherwise or any other problem with any server, system, network or mobile operator or service provider or otherwise which may result in any registration not being properly logged, not recorded, or recognised.
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit or exclude our liability for:
1. death or personal injury caused by its negligence; or
2. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Hastings Direct shall not be liable for any claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for damages or losses to persons, the Winner, of property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership and/or use of the Prize or any element of the Prize, any acts, or omissions of its agents.
If any of these terms and conditions are found by a competent court or other competent authority to be void or unenforceable, that term or condition shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable.
Any personal data supplied to Hastings Direct during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in our Privacy Policy.
This prize draw is governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
