Hastings Insurance Services is launching a new specialist division, Hastings Partnerships, led by business development director Andy Kirton which will handle all of the company's growing affinity and partnership business.
Hastings Partnerships is a brand new venture for the leading independent broker and will complement existing direct to consumer brands. Based at Hasting's Newmarket offices, the new affinity division will capitalise on its existing relationships, infrastructure and technology.
Explains Andy Kirton: "The breadth of our panel, the competitiveness of our rates, together with our quote ability level, enables us to add value and profits for many existing businesses across a range of sectors from insurance through to retail, utilities and transport.
"We already have a number of significant partnership agreements in test for launch in 2011 ranging from conventional affinity agreements served online and through our Newmarket call centre through to existing media deals.
"For brokers we are already working with partners to convert their failed quotes and for commercial brokers we are looking to create or extend their personal lines cover with our panel."
Hastings Partnerships already has several new commercial agreements in place including Towergate Riskline.
For Riskline, part of the Towergate Network, Hastings Partnerships will provide personal lines general insurance products and an overflow call facility. Towergate Riskline is a specialist in business insurance for most trades.
Hastings Partnerships will continue to build a specialist sales and marketing capability to support the forecast demand through 2011 and will ensure the right expertise and people are at the centre of this key business operation.
