Broker Hastings Direct has just appointed a new business development director, Andy Kirton to develop its relationship with affinity partners.
Andy has an established track record in the financial services, retail and property sectors. He joins the company from Homeserve plc where he was trading director. His career includes senior positions with HFC Bank (now HSBC) and Lombard Tricity Finance.
Andy will report directly to the managing director of Renew, Adrian Parry. Based in Newmarket, Renew is the specialist affinity division of Hastings Direct.
Affinity partners represent a substantial growth area for Hastings Direct. The company has doubled in size since its MBO in February 2009 and now, poised for its next stage of growth, believes that Renew's bespoke systems, broad panel mix and excellent customer service means it is ideally placed to offer affinity partners excellent products, excellent service and incremental revenue.
Adrian Parry, managing director, Renew: "Andy has an established track record of growing business and profits irrespective of market conditions. As a company we have doubled in size in the last eighteen months and we believe Andy will be an asset in our fast paced environment and future development. We are aiming to be a top five broker by 2014 and Andy is indicative of the calibre enabling us to achieve this."
