Insurance broker seeks new charity partner

Hastings Direct is appealing for nominations for a new charity partner that the company's staff can work with and fundraise for.

Hastings Direct is one of the UK's fastest growing insurance brokers. The company is seeking a new charity partner to support for the next two years. Any local registered charity can apply for consideration providing they are local to the area and do not receive: substantial national lottery or government funding or grants.

Jay Wootten, head of the charity committees, Hastings Direct: "Over the past three years we have supported a number of charities financially, practically and professionally. We want to continue this important work with a local charity partner, so would urge charities to submit an application. What would be good to know is how we can make a difference to your charity and what specific project/s we could support? We always want to do more than just fundraise, so if you have a project that needs people to get in across the line or professional support then we would be interested in hearing about it."

To register your interest, please email internalcommunications@hastingsdirect.com before 10th December 2012. You will then be asked to complete an application form. The new charity partner will be chosen and announced before January 1st 2013.
