Public votes Hastings Direct as car insurance provider of the year for second year running

Hastings Direct, one of the UK's fastest growing insurance providers, has just been named Car Insurance Provider of the Year at the prestigious 2014 Consumer Moneyfacts Awards for the second year running.

The winners of the Consumer Moneyfacts Awards are determined by the public, who voted in the autumn of 2013, completing an online survey about their customer service experiences of some of the UK's leading financial brands. 94,000 people voted during the awards and Hastings Direct scooped the popular vote again, beating many leading household name car insurance providers.

Hastings Direct — which has doubled in size in the last three years — now serves 1.4 million customers and plans to double this by 2020.
