11th April 2013

Hastings Direct's community programme — A Helping Hand — has donated £100 to Joanne Thomas who has already raised £1066 in sponsorship for the Children with Cancer Polgate Fund.

Hastings Direct's A Helping Hand makes financial, professional and physical support available to the local community. Each month Hastings is able to offer either professional support from its 1,500+ staff, or physical support with team building days. In addition, Hastings has made a small monthly grant available to support local funding.

Joanne who raised the sponsorship money by running in the Hastings half marathon will donate all monies raised to refurbish a caravan the CWC has at Coombe Haven that families use when their children are being treated at the Conquest Hospital.
