Community guidelines for social media
You should be able to visit our page, enjoy the conversations and talk with us whenever you need to.
However, there are some rules to make sure all our visitors have a straightforward experience:
- Our services are available 24/7 but some of your questions can only be answered during call centre hours. If we can't answer your questions straight away we'll get back to you as quickly as we can.
- For your own personal data security, do not post any of your personal information like your policy number, home address or phone number on our wall. If you need to tell us this information, send it in a private message. Never leave financial information like credit card details on social media (wall or private message). WE WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO DISCLOSE ANY OF THESE DETAILS IN A PUBLIC FORUM.
- Do not post any adverts promoting yourself, your company or services or any product that's not relevant to Hastings Direct. We have the right to remove any advertisement or similar at our sole discretion.
If you break any of the rules listed above we have the right to remove your comments, block your profile or escalate further.
