Motorbike Insurance Prize Draw - terms and conditions

These terms & conditions set out the basis on which you can enter our Track Day prize draw. Please read them carefully as they contain important information.

• The prize draw is open to all UK residents with a permanent UK address, except employees of the Hastings Insurance Services Limited and other employees of the Hastings Group of companies, their families or anyone connected with the prize draw.
• All entrants must be 18 years old or over.
• The prize is for two tickets to Castle Combe racetrack in Wiltshire on the 22nd September 2010 provided by BLD.
• The tickets will have up to a maximum value of £500. For riders to participate in the track day, both attendees will need to hold a Full UK Bike License and must bring either 1 piece leathers or a 2 piece zip together suit. Also required will be a full face helmet, good quality boots and gloves.
• BLD will provide 2 serviced and prepared track bikes, mechanic and fuel and you must attend the safety briefing provided.
• The cost of travel, meals and any accommodation is not part of this prize offer and must be met by the prize-winner.
• The winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries via a computerized draw carried out on 6th September 2010. One entry into the prize draw will be given for every person purchasing a motorcycle insurance policy from Hastings Direct between 16th July 2010 and 2nd September 2010 (inclusive).
• The winner will be notified by telephone or post within five days of the draw taking place.
• No purchase is necessary. To enter without a policy purchase, send your name, address, contact telephone number, email address, vehicle make and model, and the date your insurance is due for renewal to:

  Persons who enter via this route will receive one entry into the prize draw. Entry via such route can only be made once per person and is unavailable to anyone entering via the policy route. The day the entry is received by Hastings Direct will be deemed the entry date.
• The promoter will accept purchase entries when a policy is purchased directly with Hastings Direct, via their website or purchases made via comparison sites.
• The promoter reserves the right to alter the terms of the prize draw or withdraw the prize draw at any time. The promoter also reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative prize, which will be of equivalent or higher value.
• The prize is non-transferable or refundable, and there is no cash alternative.
• The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner if unable to contact the original winning person within 10 days of the draw taking place, or in the event of any winner being unable to prove adherence to these rules.
• The promoter accepts no responsibility for the prize-winner's ineligibility or inability to have the benefit of all or any part of the prize.
• The promoter reserves the right to publish the winners' photographs, names and Home County in any post-event publicity and it is a condition of entry that the winner fully cooperates for publicity purposes if so required.
• The winner's name can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope after 7th September 2010 to:

• Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
• Entry to the prize draw is deemed acceptance of the rules.
