Substitute vehicle cover
Get back on the road quickly with our substitute vehicle cover. In the event your car is stolen, not recovered or not repairable following an accident, our enhanced cover will provide a replacement vehicle for only £2.62 a month.
Substitute vehicle cover is provided by Ageas, and can further enhance your policy with provision of a replacement car in the event of a fault total loss anywhere in England, Wales and mainland Scotland.
With substitute vehicle cover you'll receive:
- The replacement car will be delivered to you as soon as possible and in any event within one working day of your insurer confirming write off or theft
- Free delivery and collection of your replacement car to you at any convenient place within England, Wales and mainland Scotland
- This policy covers you for a replacement car for up to 21 days where your vehicle is stolen and not recovered or written off
- The replacement car will be an equivalent engine and seating capacity to that of your own car up to 2000cc, and up to 7 seats
- A 24 hour, 7 days a week helpline service is provided
- You can claim twice (up to 21 days) per policy term
Our substitute vehicle cover does not cover:
- Claims arising from any act of vandalism or other deliberate or criminal act or omission other than vehicle theft
- Hire charges incurred before the insurer has confirmed acceptance of a claim in writing
