How to claim

The customer will need to submit the following to have a valid claim:

1. Original Fuel VAT Receipts
2. Fuel Vouchers with valid VAT receipts.

The number of fuel VAT receipts and vouchers returned will depend upon the type of voucher you have received. For example, if you have received the £30 voucher you will need to return 3 fuel vouchers with 3 original fuel VAT receipts.

How it Works

1. Customers must submit original receipts for fuel along with all of their fuel vouchers and the SSAE. These receipts must be from consecutive months and not from the same or non-consecutive months.
   • a) An example of a valid claim for the £20 retention voucher would contain two purchases dated 30th January and 1st February
   • b) An example of an invalid claim for the £20 retention voucher would contain two purchases dated January and March or both dated in January.
2. On each of the vouchers they must complete their personal details including name, address, registration number and Hastings unique policy number.
3. Claims must be then be sent to:-
   • The Leapfrog Group
   • Nelson House
   • Park Road
   • Timperley
   • Cheshire WA14 5BZ
4. Claims must be sent to Leapfrog within 14 days of the last day for the last month claimed
   • a) An example of a valid claim for the £20 retention voucher would be If the customer’s 2nd receipt is dated in January and the postmark on their claim dated between the 1st and 14th February.
   • b) An example of an invalid claim for the £20 retention voucher would be if the customer’s 2nd receipt is dated in January and the postmark on their claim is dated before February 1st or after February 14th
5. Leapfrog will send a cheque within 28 days from the date of receipt of the customer's claim in the SSAE that the customer provided as part of theirclaim.

OFFER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Open to selected Hastings customers aged 18+ and resident in the UK.
2. The postmark on your claim must be within 14 days from the last day of the last month claimed.
3. A "valid receipt" is defined as an original UK VAT receipt for purchase of either petrol, diesel or LPG fuel from a UK forecourt.
4. An "invalid receipt" is defined as any receipt that is;
   • a) not an original UK VAT receipt for purchase of either petrol, diesel or LPG fuel from a UK forecourt or;
   • b) damaged, defaced or photocopied
5. To claim up to £30 fuel cashback you must send in three vouchers and three valid receipts from three consecutive months to Leapfrog with an SSAE. Claims which do not contain three valid receipts in consecutive month order and three vouchers will be rejected.
6. A maximum of one valid receipt can be submitted per voucher. Valid receipts must show a minimum fuel purchase value of £10 of either petrol, diesel.or LPG Purchases must be made between 01.09.09 and 28.02.10 (or 01.10.09 and 31.03.10 for October fulfilment). Receipts showing less than £10 for fuel purchases will be refunded at face value. The maximum amount that can be claimed per receipt is £10 and the maximum overall claim per customer is £30.
7. Cheques will be posted to the qualifying applicants in the SSAE provided by you and made payable to the name on the application. Please allow 28 days from receipt of claim for delivery.
8. No multiple or third party claims accepted. Only one claim per envelope allowed.
9. The offer is as stated and no alternative offer is available.
10. Proof of postage not accepted as proof of receipt. Hastings and participating agencies cannot be held responsible for claims that are lost, delayed or damaged in the post. Illegible, incomplete or delayed claims will not be processed.
11. The offer is limited to one cheque, up to the value of £30, per customer and up to 4 per household providing each customer has a unique policy number.
12. The vouchers do not represent a monetary discount at point of sale and will be rejected if presented when making a fuel purchase of either petrol, diesel or LPG. The voucher is a Cashback offer and can only be redeemed against purchases made at UK forecourts only.
